First Steps

I am overflowing with joy and wanting to cry as well ... Peyton took his first steps today at 11 months and three days old. I was trying to hold him up while I pulled his jeans over his big diaper bum when I noticed he was not holding my leg like he usually does, he was just standing on his own! I backed off to watch him and it was so freakin cute ... he just stood there with a smile that just oozed with Peyton pride. Then he slowly took one step forward ... it was so balanced and so perfect! I started screaming and clapping so he started clapping and he lost his balance and fell. I hugged him and praised him and was full of joy to last me a year! When I took him to my moms to show off his trick, he did it again but this time he took 6 steps! He started to look like a little man walking on his two little feet. Now I want to cry again! I do not have any photo evidence yet, he did not feel like cooperating with that =) Soon I promise though!
