I think my son is a little behind ... or just taking his time ... in some areas. For example at 16 months old he is just now playing the "point out the body part" game. He has loved showing off where his belly button is and asking to see yours for awhile now. But now he has found his face parts! He will jab his eye out when you ask where his eyes are. He will pinch his lips when you ask where his mouth is. And he pinches the crud out of his nose when you ask where that is! Here is a picture of him attacking his poor little defenseless nose =)

Alisha's baby shower was most definitely the most adorable baby shower I have been too. If only I was not chasing Peyton most of the time trying to keep him away from the pool while (like the wonderful mother I am) letting him roast in the beautiful Bakersfield sun this weekend. Thankfully Barbie is a pro at child entertainment ... peekaboo with an Easter Egg was a big hit =)

Alisha
(lifting WAY more than she should have at 8 1/2 months preggers) used Peyton to try out her new sling. Peyton loved it and did not want to get out =) Oh and how amazing does Alisha look for being about ready to pop!?

Here is a picture of Peyton's latest OBSESSION at Sunday School ... the slide. He just loves it. I think it is all he did the whole time he was there ... up and down ... up and down ... up and down. When Ryan and I came in to pick him up, he looked at us and ran around to the stairs of the slide real quick rather than to us! We went and priced little slides at Toys R Us later that day ... YIKES ... let's just say that will have to stay a Sunday School toy!

I am going all out of order here, but here is Thursdays first trip to Chuck E Cheese (compliments of his daddy (Papa). Ryan needed a little fun time with Peyton so he decided to take us to dinner at the mouse house. I was a little impressed with the child tagging system, he was stamped with an invisible number that matched our invisible number, and when we left they used a black light to see our invisible numbers to make sure we left with the same child we brought.

Peyton liked the carousel. He was just
chillin' on the pony watching all the other kids running around.

I took a million pictures trying to get some of him smiling, but no such luck =( My camera takes the picture like a whole minute after I press the button! But he spent most of his tokens on this ride. I think the big plastic Chuck E Cheese is slightly freaky!

This was the monster truck that was actually a little too big for little Peyton. He almost fell out of it! He got so scared his hands started shaking after just a second. But then he decided he loved it and would not let us take him out. He is such a dare devil!

He also really like the little Bob The Builder ride. That has to be new ... it was one of the nicer rides there =) I thought it was super cute also and took a
bajillion pictures (no worries, I am only posting one!)
I did not get any pictures of him with cousin (babysitter) Leijah while Ryan and I were at Bree & Bobby's wedding. But he had a blast with her also this weekend! She let him skip a nap and run around like a wild banchi, whats not to love about that?! =)
I also did not get any pictures of him at his cousin Sean's 21 birthday BBQ. I really need a new camera ... mine is always dead or something.
Or of him and Kaylyn kissing when Damon and Melisa came over for dinner. I missed SO many fun photo opps =(
But after our busiest weekend ever, this was Peyton on his was home last night ... completely tuckered out! Look at those lashes!!!!

All of the business and focus on Peyton is so much fun right now, but it is hard to believe that in just a few months our world is going to revolve around two little boys. In some ways things will have to slow down, and in others it will speed up. I am getting anxious, nervous, and
ridiculously excited all at once. I hope I am able to smother Peyton with the love he needs at the same time as giving baby Cohen the loving
smothering he will need as well. So much ... so soon! OUr world is about to chang and I can't wait to see what God has planned for our little family!

Alisha's shower was definitely a highlight for me too! It was so much fun seeing you. And I still cannot get over how well-behaved Peyton was!
ROTFL @ the camera taking a pic 1 whole minute after pushing the button. I hear they've fixed that now, but who can afford a new digital camera? So fun!
I am glad you had fun at the shower. Thanks so much for coming. I was so fun to sit ant talk with all of you. Peyton is so stinkin cute. I love those cheeks.. even if they did get a little pink over the weekend. :) I am sure you are going to be the best mommy to those 2 little boys and will give them all the love they need.
