Birthdays, a day to celebrate the wonderful birth and existence of someone special ... I love them! One of my absolute favorites to date is my husbands birthday. What would this world be if Ryan was never born?! I shutter at the thought!
Anyways Ryan had a birthday this week, but since he is so special we do not just celebrate the day, we celebrate the whole week, it is Ryan week! The festivities started off last weekend with a dinner party at Don and Marita's house. Marita made some of her oh so amazing, all the way home made, lasagna! Everyone M U S T have a true Italian friend =) Thanks Marita XOXO!
Then mid week the siblings came baring amazing gifts. Raymond and Sunny gave him a gift card to his favorite restaurant, and Joe and Crystal asked if they could baby sit, DATE NIGHT! Perfection, not only for Ryan but for me too, love you guys XOXO! We were able to spend some time hanging out, just the two of us. Dinner first, then chatting over some Starbucks late at night, pure bliss!
Here at home Ryan got a series of special treatment, whether it be less time changing diapers, or special meals, we honored Ryan week around here =) The only inevitable bad part was that he had to have a wisdom tooth extracted ... poor Ry-ry, but he did get one of Angela's special home made milk shakes to help sooth the pain. Our Grandmother made him his favorite casserole and dropped it off also, Grandma's cooking is always a special treat!
Ryan's birthday week is coming to and end with having his parents over for dinner tonight. Much fun has been had by all. Peyton particularly enjoyed the candle in Pappa's stack of chocolate chip pancakes and us singing, super fun for everyone =) My parents gave Ryan a gift card that he enjoyed spending W A Y too much =) Shopping without kids is a treat in and of itself! Even though the week is coming to an end, this little family loves, appreciates, and celebrates our Pappa and Hubby every day of the year! We love you Ryan, Happy Birthweek!

Happy birthday to Ryan! I feel really bad now that I didn't even think to offer babysitting services for you to use your gift card. I will have to remember that for next time. I am glad Joe and Crystal did it for you. I hope Ryan enjoyed celebrating his birthweek! :)
