So Saturday bright and ridiculously early we brought Peyton over to my parents house and I went to class with Ryan in west LA. While he was being studious I wondered the LA streets enjoying the brilliant weather and playing with my camera. I sat at Starbucks and read some magazines. I text messaged people. I simply relaxed with nothing to do, nowhere to be, and no one to watch after. Just people watching.

Our Babymoon
This little lady had a wonderful suggestion of Ryan and I going on a babymoon since Cohen will be here in just weeks. I instantly was addicted to the idea, but knew there were no real means to plan a vacation on a days notice. Then Ryan's Aunt called and asked if we wanted to come stay at their beach house in Oxnard ... um let me think about that YES!
We walked over to the jewelry district where we had Ryan's ring cleaned and traded my ring in for a new one. My original ring had a pave setting and I was always loosing stones. We decided to get a more "Angela Friendly" setting and I am truly in love with it! Then it was time for Babymoon extravaganza! Which mean Ryan and I being our silly goofy selves and just enjoying each others company, one of my favorite things to do! Look at how freakin silly this man is ... he does not even know how to take a sticking your tong out picture!
The weekend diggs ... sigh ... someday I could very happily live on the beach. You can feel the freshness of the air all the way down to your toes with every breath you take.
You can lay in bed with the windows open and listen to the sound of seagulls and waves. The chill is just enough to make you snuggle a little deeper into your covers and fall into complete serenity.
You can spend half of the morning drinking coffee and reading anything and everything you can get your hands on. Or spend hours planning out your life with your soul mate while watching the boats pass you one by one.
You can sit on the doc and just soak up the peace and bliss. Or take a little ride on the boat down the channel. Or have a heart to hear with someone you love.
So that is how we spent our Babymoon. Enjoying each other without any distractions or business. The trip home was silly fun also, playing with the camera again!
With such a ridiculously perfect trip something unthinkable would have to happen right ...? RIGHT! We were at the bottom of the grapevine, almost home, when our front drivers side tire blew out! I have had flats before ... but never a blow out, the whole tire just pops basically. So 8 months pregnant, have to pee, almost out of water, over 100 degrees outside, stuck on the side of the freeway waiting for the tow truck to show up.
I will skip to the end now ... everything worked out and we made it home safe ... eventually =) The trip was amazing, needed, and enjoyed to the fullest! We are ready to welcome the insanity of having a newborn back in the house any time now =)

What a fun night away! That house is gorgeous! Where is the picture of your new ring? I want to see it! So sorry about the tire blow out, your mom told me about it and how long it took for the tow truck guy to come. That must have been awful and scary too. Glad you made it home safe and sound. See you this weekend!
Sounds so fun! I am glad that you made it home safe. Let's go swimming!
Oh my gosh, that looks just WONDERFUL! Glad you had such a good time. Ack! Cohen will be here BEFORE YOU KNOW IT!!!
