Denial Stops Here

Today our precious little Cohen turns 9 months old, 9 MONTHS! He is gorgeous, smoochy, gooshey, kissable, huggable, lovable and tons of trouble! In an effort to only use positive words to describe our children, we have settled on "passionate" ... yes baby Cohen is just passionate about everything. After the first month being, well, quite difficult, we thought that at 3 months everything would be better. Then we thought at 6 months everything would get easier, and then we thought 9 months would provide some rest for us. Well the denial stops here! Cohen will always have SOMETHING that will require a little more attention, and that is part of what makes him so amazing. He sleeps quite well most of the time now, but he has a whole new list of demands =)Cohen is "that kid" who has to be held when he wants to be held ... or else ... Who can scream anyone's sanity right out of them. Who will find life threatening trouble anywhere he goes. But at the flip of a switch he can melt anyone's heart, flash smiles to light up a room, and be as sweet and smoochy as a gummy bear should be! He is super goofy! He makes funny faces, silly sounds, and loves to play with his big brother! He follows Peyton everywhere, crawls on him, pulls his pant legs, and steals his toys. Watching the two of them interact is pure joy {and entertainment}. Last week he started saying dadadadadadada all the time. It was cute until Peyton decided to start doing it two and I have two little boys saying dadadada all the time ... erg =)
The past 9 months have been so ... "informative" as to how different children can be, and how wonderful that is! Peyton surrenders at the first signs of controversy while Cohen makes tight fists, holds his breath, and screams so loud anyone would surrender! They will be such different little people and will be able to learn so much from each other. Meanwhile, both of them are in much need of mothers guidance and disciple to make it through the day {which I should get back to right now actually}. Wow ... 9 months ... sigh ...

I heart your gummy bear. LOL about your descriptions of him, especially that he can scream anyone's sanity out of them. Hehe, reminds me of Twain and Ollie this week! And yes, Calvin and Ollie and Twain all like to mimic each other, so I get more baby talk than most!
