This post is actually going to be about cake, but if there is one thing sweeter than my cup cakes it is the special girls that inspire them!
The most miserable job on earth resulted in meeting some of the most amazing girls. God works in mysterious ways =) It all started in dreadful cubicles, painting our nails when the boss was out, reading Twilight under our desks and taking pictures like this when we should have been working.
Then the bonding extended past the work place. A group of girls that could not be ANY more different from each other. Miss Marita added a splash of New York into our all to Bakersfield style.
Birthdays were celebrated together ...
Dinners were enjoyed together ...
Baby showers were thrown together ...
Graduations were celebrated together ...
Las Vegas was done together, and even some New Kids on the Block!
These girls have etched out a chunk of my heart that will forever belong to them. Their friendship was one of the most surprising gifts in my life at the most unexpected time!
Birthdays were celebrated together ...
Dinners were enjoyed together ...
Graduations were celebrated together ...Here is the girl and the ring that inspired the Tiffany's Cup Cakes that I mentioned before! BLING BLING lady!
I started with a BIG sheet cake of Confetti Cake, Marita's fave ...
Then I chopped them into little square ring boxes ...
Then I made frosting from powdered sugar, powdered egg whites, water, food coloring and butter cream flavoring ...
And this was the most difficult part! Poor a little ... spread a lot ... and patch even more!
But here was the end product! And they were actually super yummy too! Congrats Marita!

Angela, you really worked this one out! And to think, I was pushing you to buy those square muffin tins. You did an amazing job and I am super impressed!
And congrats Marita!
Awww, what great times with your co-workers/friends! Your cupcakes look cute! So nice of you to host an engagement party. Is the wedding in New York? Are you going?
I love your little cakes! So Martha Stewart-ish! *wink*
Very impressed! And great job on getting the blue just right! Such a blessing to have a good group of friends that compliment eachother.
I just realized that I was prego in all but 1 of those pictures LOL! And thank you everyone!
